Privacy Policy

Pre-launch notice: This policy is provided for live testing and must be approved by the service owner and participating schools before real pupil information is added.

School Bridge supports teacher-managed collaboration between verified schools. Schools control which pupils participate and remain responsible for explaining the activity to families and identifying an appropriate lawful basis.

Information used

The service may process school and staff details, pupil account details, year group, profile information, messages, project contributions, reports, login and audit records, and technical information required to keep the service secure.

Why it is used

Information is used to provide managed exchanges, enable teacher oversight, investigate safety concerns, maintain security, support users and meet legal obligations. It is not sold or used for advertising.

Access and sharing

Access is limited according to role and school. Information may be shared with an approved partner school where required for an exchange and with contracted service providers that operate the platform. Schools should not enter unnecessary sensitive information.

Retention and rights

Records are kept only for an approved period, including longer retention where safeguarding or legal obligations require it. Requests to access, correct, restrict or delete information should be made through the participating school in the first instance.

Before production launch, this page must list the legal entity, postal address, privacy contact, data-protection contact, retention schedule, subprocessors and international-transfer safeguards.
